Seoul , the flourishing capital of South Korea , was molded way back in the 14 th century during the Joseon dynasty. The old city of the Joseon Dynasty with its central main palace is today's traditional downtown hub of Seoul where it brags its beautiful sights, hotels and markets. Even the island, Yeouido, in the middle of the Han River is filled with towering buildings including the world's largest Presbyterian Church. Within the urban landscape are numerous green parks, at the center of which is the Namsan Park , surrounding Mount Namsan located south of downtown Seoul .
