Tourist Information about Mexico

Regarded as North America's highest city and one of the densely populated cities in the world, Mexico attracts many visitors a year because of its colorful history and culture.

Mexico's city square, the Zocalo, is deemed to be the second largest in the world with Moscow's Red Square being the first. The city's largest market, La Merced, is where you'll find a number of stalls selling unique and fabulous goods. The National Museum of History, situated in the immense Bosque de Chapultepec park, features pre-hispanic artifacts. Structures from the city's ancient culture are exposed in Teotihuacán where people can come across mystifying and puzzling archaeological sites.

Mexico has everything a big city has, including the good and not-so-good stuff. Renowned museums and galleries, historical palaces and cathedrals, tall buildings, spacious parks, exists with poverty, crime, pollution, traffic, unemployment, among others.
