London Aquarium

BA London Eye
This is where you go for the best views of London! The world's largest observation wheel is 135 m (443 ft) high and is situated on the Southbank opposite the Houses of Parliament. The 32 glass capsules, each carrying up to 25 people, take you for a smooth, 30 minute ride. On a clear day the views are a stunning 40km (25 miles) so you can see all of London at once!

British Museum
The British Museum is one of the oldest museums in the world. It houses an enormous collection, from the Elgin Marbles to Egyptian Mummies; from Prehistoric artefacts to oriental art. There are 94 galleries covering 2.5 miles, so don't try to see it all in one visit!

Buckingham Palace
Buckingham Palace, the residence of the Royal Family, is open for visitors during the summer months. You can take a peek in the Guard Room, the State Dining Room and Queen Victoria's Picture Gallery. The highlight of the tour is seeing the Throne Room. Outside you can witness the changing of the Guard, an essential "London experience"! The Royal Mews, the palace stables, are available for public viewing all year round.

Cabinet War Rooms
This is where Winston Churchill and his cabinet took refuge during the second World War. All the rooms are laid out as they were when the war ended and include living quarters, a soundproof Cabinet Room and the Map Room. You are really taken back in time- even Churchill's cigar and pyjamas are still there waiting for him in his living quarters.

The Cutty Sark
The Cutty Sark, built in 1869, was originally used for the tea trade with China but it also has a history of serving the Australian wool trade. The interior of the ship has been successfully reconstructed to make her look like a genuine tea ship. For anyone wanting to learn more about the ship's history, there are popular storytelling sessions on summer weekends.
