Canberra National Multicultural Festival

The festival, which occurs during the first three weeks of March, hosts free events varying from concerts to competitions. The Canberra Day, which is also known as the local public holiday and happens every third Monday of March, includes a hot-air balloon fiesta, fireworks display, food and wine promotion, and a myriad of other activities focusing on Australia's ethnic mix.

Other major events include the flower show Floriade, the Subaru Rally Of Canberra, the Canberra 400 V8 Supercars meeting, and the National Folk Festival.
