Bucharest, The Village Museum

The Village Museum was established in 1936 on the Herãstrãu lake shore. It is considered one of the biggest and oldest oper air ethnographical European museum. It has 100,000 square meters, and exhibits 272 authentic Romanian buildings and peasant farms as well as wind mills, carpets, pottery, and other sights products showcasing the history and art of Bucharest.
